Dear Principal and Parents:
We warmly invite you to participate in the Jakarta Taipei School`s Inter-schoolsSinging Competition, which will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2017.
The competition has been organized for bothprimary and secondary students. The groups are divided into 3 categories: 1. Young Group (G1-G3), 2. Children’sGroup (G4-G6), and 3. Middle School Group (G7-G12).
The purpose of this competition is to increase the contestants and audiences’ interest in learning Chinese and to improve the ability of using Chinese language.
The rules of the competition:

The contestant must bring their own music file needed (karaoke version or the music minus the lyrics), the song must be a Chinese song, on the mp4 format, and also send it via email along with the school registration form.

The contestant will sing live on stage and be judged instantaneously.
Scoring criteria: pronunciation and articulation 10%, tone 25%, appearances 15%, singing skill 25%, singing style and performance on stage 25%.

Competition date : Saturday, May 7, 2017 (09.00 am to the end of the Competition)
Venue : 3rd floor, Auditorium,Jakarta Taipei School
Registration Fee : Free
Competition Rewards:

The top three students from each group, will be awarded a trophy, certificate, and prize money.

1st place will be awarded a champion trophy and Rp.300.000,- prize money.
2nd place will be awarded a runner-up trophy and Rp.200.000,-prize money.
3rd place will be awarded a third place trophy and Rp.100.000,-prize money.

Photos and the video of the competition will be published on the Jakarta Taipei School’s website.

The committee will hold the copyright for all the recorded audio and video to publish, display, and use without any other expenses.
